Pivotal, l’un des éditeurs spécialisés les plus en vue dans le big data issu d’EMC et VMWare, vient d’annoncer qu’il mettre en mode open source, une grande partie de son catalogie logiciels de sa Big Data Suite incluant notamment :
– La base de données MPP Greenplum,
– Le moteur SQL on Hadoop Pivotal Hawq
– Et la base de données in-memory NoSQ Pivotal GemFire.

Parallèlement, l’éditeur dévoile de nouveaux modules :
– Pivotal Big Data Suite on Pivotal Cloud Foundry — Leverage advanced data services using applications running in the leading open cloud platform as a service.
– Spring XD — Highest scaling open source distributed framework for data ingestion, batch processing and analytic pipeline management.
– Redis — Leading scalable open source key-value store and data structure server.
– RabbitMQ — Leading scalable open source reliable message queue for applications.
